During these tough and changing times, there are still things we can do that will help us navigate a path of least resistance.
As our bodies listen and communicate, just as our minds do, it’s extremely important to hear what your body needs during these times. It also has to shift and change, just as our mind does.
Here are some suggestions that will help you get started &/or stay positive:
- Epsom Salt Baths – the minerals help the body’s immune system, detoxes any toxicities, softens the skin, and helps to reset your mood.
- Essential Oils (Pure) – Oregano, Rosemary, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree (Melaleuca), Sage, and more. You can use this diluted with a carrier oil & applied directly on the body, aromatically diffused, in your food, water, bath, and more.
- Smudging – burn or smudge, using Sage, throughout the home will naturally help fight the virus.
- Kefir & Fermented Foods – Kefir is most commonly found in yogurt & fermented foods like sauerkraut are helpful in building your immunity and fighting off the virus.
- Organic Foods – Eating organic is healthy in several ways; your body doesn’t have to fight as hard to process the hormones, pesticides, or chemicals of non-organic foods. Instead it can focus on pulling the nutrients it really does need in order for you to have a stronger immune system.
- Washing/Sanitizing – Washing your hands with a mild soap for at least 20 seconds will give the soap time to kill germs. It can be in cold, warm, or hot water so long as you leave the soap on for about 20 seconds. Sanitizing is something to be mindful about as well. What’s really in those hand sanitizers & are you only adding more toxins to your body? Use natural products like herbs & essential oils.
These things especially help with fighting off the COVID-19, as science has shown that higher temperatures of heat will melt away the virus:
- Hot Tubs, Saunas, & Mineral Pools – Visit a local spa & take advantage of their hot tubs, saunas, & mineral pools to help fight this virus.
- Visiting the Desert – If you’re near a desert & it’s hot out, spend some time breathing in the hot air.
- Hair Dryer – Spritz your face with water and use a hair dryer over your face, to create moisture and heat.
- Hot Tea – Making a glass or mug of hot tea creates a steamy effect that you can breathe in while you’re sipping away.
Of course, it goes without saying that remaining hydrated is extremely important. As your body detox’s the virus or any other toxicity, it need the water/hydration to carry out the cells through our natural elimination process (going to the bathroom, ha). If your body isn’t hydrated enough, it could see those cells as something it needs to reabsorb.
