Bad Picker – Always Attracting The Wrong Men

The other day, I was working with a client who was coming to me for help so she would stop attracting the wrong kind of men. She explained about her past relationships with an ex-boyfriend and an ex-husband and how they were malicious deceivers, manipulators, possessive, and overall controlling or abusive (perhaps even narcissistic).

She described how the men tell her horrible things like “you’ll never do better” or “no one wants you” or “you’re not even genuine or true”. And of course, she began playing those thoughts in her head which led to more negative thinking. She was asking for help to re-align her heart & head so they’ll be more connected to each other and to clear the “bad picker” in men.

Since she is no longer with either of them, then the process to healing is easier.

In this type of multi-dimensional healing work, it’s imperative that I remove my own personal judgements and opinions because this is not about me. Remember in my June article, I stated “I do not try to fix, solve, prescribe, or cure anything. I am not a therapist or a doctor. I am a healer – a multi-dimensional healer! This means I am witnessing your truth from within the experiences that you are sharing with me and then working with the frequencies on a quantum level to heal or mend them, immediately.”

In order to provide her with the best emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual healing possible, I need to set aside my own interferences so that I can be a clearer conduit for Spirit to work through me. I then trust everything that comes through from that moment on. I am highly intuitive after all, and trusting my instinct has never done me wrong!

Right from the beginning of our chat, I found myself stumbling on my words. Struggling to speak and express what I really wanted to be saying. Fortunately, I have worked on healing myself so much that I am able to better discern what is mine that I’m feeling versus what is someone else’s. This is typical of an empath to pick up on what other people are feeling. Since I knew myself well enough to know that stumbling over my words wasn’t something of mine, I asked her if she struggled with speaking and most likely felt as though she was always mis-understood. She was shocked that I picked that up and told me I hit the head on the nail, ha. Our bodies tingled with chills that validated the accuracy. We giggled a little bit together at the truth of what was coming through.

As we talked, I began receiving visual impressions of a past life when she was a little girl. An older brother had been aggressive and physical in trying to keep her quiet. I saw him [in my mind’s eye] pop her on the mouth and tell her to shut up & even hold his hand over her mouth making it hard to breathe. Seemed he was afraid she was going to tell on him for doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing.

These kind of experiences are often interpreted by a child as trauma. She began to feel insecure to speak up. Her communication with others became more and more difficult and she experienced being misunderstood many times since then.

Did it matter that she might not have believed in past lives or that she didn’t remember any of this? Of course not! If the goal is to heal on all levels (emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical), then why not entertain the idea and allow for the metaphor of the story to provide an understanding of the trauma?

It’s common in these multi-dimensional sessions to jump around. I believe this is due to the fact that once the intention is set for the healing, then Spirit brings in the experiences that are most important to address. Even if the metaphoric story seems completely unrelated to the topic at hand.

Next I saw her mom and a man. I began to recognize the energy and feeling of her mom and could make that connection right away. The man was a bit unclear at first. I could feel aggression and control-over frequencies but it wasn’t fitting the energy of her father. When I asked her, she clarified that her father is a soft, gentle and non-confrontational man. Her grandfather, her mother’s father, was aggressive and controlling. This took us through a series of experiences that her mother had.

Why is it important to review what her mother experienced? Because as an embryo in the womb, as an infant, baby, toddler, or child… we take on everything our parents experience without knowing it. It’s common. Everyone does it. Mostly without realizing that we’ve done it. Parents also take on energy of their children. All this exchange is fine, until it isn’t anymore.

A typical approach to clearing what does not belong to them, is a process known as “Cutting Cords”. For me, I do this in an ethical and loving way. Whatever energies the parent have of the child, is released back to the child. Whatever energies the child has of the parents are released back to the parents.

It does you no good to carry other people’s energies. And those people need their energy back, just as my client need hers back. By way of this process, those involved become more whole within themselves. They begin to feel less scattered, less confused, less empty, and so on.

Her mother suffered abuse from her grandfather and my client took on those frequencies as though they were hers. After cleaning everything up, she immediately felt calm and relaxed.

And given the pattern of other energies she took on that wasn’t hers, clued us in to the fact that my client is also empathic.

I never make promises or guarantees with this work, as no one can determine the exact circumstances of the future because the future is not set in stone. I do love when someone can experience this type of healing and find themselves more peaceful and joyful than they were beforehand, which then leads them down the path they really want to be on and experiencing more positive connections.

Upon finishing, I asked her to explain how she was feeling. She sat up, gathering herself together, saying she felt much lighter, it was easier to breathe, she was relaxed, calm, and was feeling joyful. All of this creates hope and perhaps a light at the end of the tunnel to indicate everything will be okay and that she can actually be happy in life.

As a review of how this relates to her “bad picker”… perhaps those abusive energies she carried from her grandfather as well as having experienced some abuse herself, where attracting more of the same. Like attracts like after all – Law of Attraction. Without those negative frequencies in her field anymore, she has more strength in creating joyful, respectful, and loving relationships. While she holds more positive frequencies in her field, she will attract more of the same!
